Actively participated in the formulation of the industry standard for "ZP200 Series Silencer Selection and Installation"

In April 2011, Shanghai Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. took the lead in organizing the compilation of the "ZP200 Series Silencer Selection and Installation" collection, with the participation of design units, construction units, building consulting firms, and product manufacturers nationwide. Our company was also one of the participating units. The level of operating noise in industrial and civil ventilation and air conditioning projects has become an important design indicator. There are not many types of silencers available for use in China's engineering projects. Generally, the noise reduction of each section of the ZP100 series silencer is around 15dB, while theoretically, the ZP200 series silencer will have higher noise reduction, and will have better effects in some special engineering applications.

In the past, silencer manufacturers in various parts of China rarely had testing equipment, nor did they send samples to professional units for testing. The technical data in the samples were unreliable due to mutual copying. The new collection compiled in this project will conduct scientific testing of the noise reduction of each model in the series. Only with accurate and reliable data can the product have better effects in engineering applications.

This collection is applicable to the design, selection, manufacture, and installation of silencers in ventilation fan supply and exhaust systems, and air conditioning unit supply or return air systems.

This collection can be used by industrial and civil ventilation and air conditioning engineering designers for the design and selection of duct system silencers, and can also be used by equipment manufacturers as detailed drawings for silencer manufacturing. In addition, it can also provide installation guidance for electromechanical equipment installers.

The industry standard "ZP200 Series Silencer Selection and Installation" has undergone multiple rounds of discussion and revision and is currently in the experimental verification stage. It is expected to be officially published at the end of 2013. After publication, it will contribute to the correct selection of ZP200 series silencers in domestic construction projects.
